How to install a Grok Bot template

1. Open the template link (a Marketplace page or an x.ai/bot/… link someone shared).
2. Click Add to Grok Bot (on Marketplace pages: Import Bot). It opens in your Grok Bot.
3. Review the context (memories, skills) and integrations it includes. Make sure everything is what you'd expect.
4. Click Add Bot. You get a distinct new copy.
5. Reconnect plugins. The template comes with them, but you sign in to each one yourself.
6. Custom MCP servers, scripts and code are not included. Follow any setup notes the maker wrote into the bot.

A template is "a recipe, not a meal": you get the instructions, skills, non-personal memories and plugins, never the maker's secrets or personal data. The official guide's advice: "Be very careful about what you're installing in your bot."
